I think it is key to pay attention to how technology is used and to not overuse it or use it for the wrong reasons. Technology has drastically changed how a modern classroom is today. Most classrooms have some kind of technology that students are required to use on the daily. A negative aspect to consider is that technology has changed the way kids communicate. A lot of kids today are not taught good communicating skills because they spend a lot of their time inside on some sort of technology.
I am a substitute teacher and I have notice that many of the classes use their laptops for everything. I believe one of the apps they used was google classroom for all their lessons, reading, and homework. I am not a tech savvy and students would ask for help to access certain assignments and it was a struggle. I personally like the pencil and paper but I understand times are changing. I just think there should be a balance on using technology and learning without it.
